I also picked up these 2 chairs at the same time as the one's in the previous post.
After ripping off the seat coverings and a good clean up, I sanded and painted the framework in duck egg chalk paint. I applied a couple of coats of wax and rubbed down. For the seat covers I made new foam pads to cover the springs and upholstered with matching fabrics.

I am so happy that you are able to do this. I believe that it is important that we try to do what we can to make everything a bit better. You are very talented to be able to do something like this. I hope that we can do whatever we can to make this work for us as well. I want to make things better, especially because I have my own workshop back at home, so it will be interesting.
